Can't open the boot as its stuck under the runners for the roof, can't close it either....

Can't seem to compress it enough to get it past the roof rails, not sure if I can undo the strut from the other end so I can lift the boot and pop it back on the knuckle...

Any ideas???

I am going to make a sweeping statement...

This Forum is a bloody jinx..lol

I have had my car 5 years, only issue HPFP which is not a surprise by all accounts...

But apart from that I have not even had a bulb go...

Since posting on a regular basis the below has happened...

Saw some of the fantastic looking cars on here, so decided I wanted new wheels, this has been a bloody disaster from the start but I have finally got it sorted with help and advice from the Old grey one - Cheers Stevie Boy....
Even tho I am £1700 quid lighter.....

The saga with the wheels led me to a company - that was recommended to try and sort my issue out, they had the car for four days... When I picked it up - one of the monkeys there did this to my interior......

The boss there is now trying to swerve it and deny they did the damage, the guy that looks after the car cleaning wise said he can dye the seat but would recommend that the leather is replaced as it has actually scraped the leather... car was detailed last month and have pics to show interior was mint...

I am considering whether I just contact my insurance and get it sorted this way as even if the seat is dyed it prob wont be long before it wears again...

What is frustrating is that the company that looked at the wheels for me did not even bother to put a seat cover on it after I asked them too... Jesus, they have a dirty job refurbishing wheels - put a fucking cover on my interior please if you have to drive my car you dirty little grease monkey.... It was not just the seat, it was the door card plus the centre arm rest that was covered in dirty black marks... so pissed off..

And now this happens with the boot thing, its funny I called out BMW warranty, they sent a guy in what I can only describe as the sort of truck that picks up the HGV/Coaches... Real nice guy, drove 50 miles to come and have a look just about got this thing up my road, looked at it and said fuck, not sure I can sort that out pal... PMSL..

His option was tow it back to Harrow, leave it in their yard over the weekend and take to BMW on Monday, told him to do one.. lol....

Went to put car in the garage and now get a warning that the side/day run lights are fucked....

When it rains an all that.... this Forum is a jinx... lol

So where is her body now if u can't use the boot?
Hope the interior gets sorted to your satisfaction. I personally love the white and cream interiors but the fear of dying it with new jeans keeps me away let alone oil or grease stains.
Personally I'd be getting quotes for retrim and brand new interior from dealer and then asking the company that did it which option they are going to do.

Sorry
Saw this today and just now.
So have they repaired the boot?
Re: seat its a difficult one. If if goes to bmw, they will charge silly money to replace leather.
Dye, protection and proper care...
Hope that the shit company pays out / sort that.

I'm here I'm here been answering PM's from here there everywhere but at a guess looking at the picture I'm guessing but like K M79's stated I'd go with a possible popped rear boot lid strut as the end appears to if separated. Difficult to be 100% but like K M's said from the pic they appears to be the best suggestion I can put up.

No worried re the quoted help pleasure......... just remind me what was the help? Oh and the seat yep lack of seat covers at a guess and if overalls are used possible studs of something in a pocket.

Smart repairer should be able to sort it out as it does appear to of damaged / pulled the stitching but if you handy various leather repair stuff available, scuff master are really good http://www.liquidleather.com/scuffs.htm as an example not to bad a price easy DIY plus it's bound to crop up again so you'll have some left overs to re treat
