Took me 8 hours first time by myself with 2 jack stands and a jack. Took me 3 hours itself because the part where you stick the DP onto the side of the motor and add the bracket over it. The bracket klept jumping off and wouldn't stay on the circle. So I add alil lube on it and bam easy.
Yea I completely took off that black bracket removed the whole exhaust too the hardest part was getting the clamps on right on the turbos, the rest was a breeze

I've already done the golf tee mod (thanks for the tip)

I'm debating on getting the JB4 upgrade with JB4 Dual Cone Intake. Through the very intuitive search button... I found some reviews, but I'm still on the fence, is it worth it? Should I buy the JB4 used through other forum members (does anyone have one their selling - I prefer unused and brand new?).

Thanks in advance guys (and gals),

nice car. I'd say the JB4 is worth it. You can really feel the additional tq in the low end and the car gains what it needed most, some top end pull. It really just pulls through the entire gear now.

the DCI just sounds fantastic, you can really hear the turbos spool up. I bought the combo used off a member on the board and had no issues. for $400 I really can't complain.

Here's a quick vid of my car, you can hear the DCI/spooling a little in the vid.

Do it! You won't regret it one bit! Pm Persian54 and tell him mike sent you. He'll hook you up with a great deal on a JB4.

I just got my wavetrac diff from my old 2008 335i and installed it in the 335is by Ivo @ Columbus Auto and she feels really good!

Forgive the picture quality they was taken by my iPhone.

Feeling a noticeable difference (for the good) in handling?

Just to clarify, the 335is diff is welded right?

Yes, especially when accelerating into curves and brake stands.

And yes the diff on the 335is are welded, when I had the 2008 335i it was welded as well, if I didn't find the recking yard that had a diff off of a 2007 335is for $400, I would have paid extra for the kit and paid a shop to cut off the gear ring and install the kit.

Lip Spoilers

Are any of the aftermarket painted M3 lip spoilers worth a shit? Hate the idea of putting cheap aftermarket parts on the car but also hate the idea of dropping upwards of 3 bills on a tiny piece of painted plastic.

It's no M3 but I love my 335is. Martino Auto Concepts did a great job of fixing my car. Just want to share my joy with you all.

Cool I am glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but still people should be aware of their payloads.

You should also get the car polished and detailed.. most likely there are a lot of fine scratches from the dry wall. Luckily they don't show up easily on a grey car, but they are there for sure.
