Thumbs up Smacks paint rehab

Cant recommend smack enough to people. Picked up my car tonight and was taken back with the results. Could have fooled me and told me he repainted the vehicle. Paint looks like glass and fresh as factory new. Kudos to smack to another very satisfied customer.

SW Bimmers by far. What are you trying to get done? If it's something simple, maybe one (or some) of us could help. I always attempt to do stuff myself, if I need help or mess something up, I ask around. If all else fail or it's not something I would want to attemp, I send my car to SW Bimmers. Delvin and Dave are both great (don't know no one else there but could imagine they're good). Their shop number is 702-834-8070.

Mod Days/Group

Since I'm all about, learning, teaching, resolving issues at the lowest level possible (and saving money), is anyone possibly interested in doing mod days or willing to 'group up' when a fellow members need assistance to lend a hand? I'm sure with everyone different experiences and/or tools, we could all come together and knock out most common things. Plus, it's a good way to learn if you don't have any experience. Just an idea I'm throwing out. Let me know.

Awesome work as usual Smack!!

I third the recommendation for SWBimmers. You will pay a little extra but they will get the job done correctly. Someone messed up my suspension and other small things on my 335i when I had it, and they made everything all good again. Great knowledgeable guys.

Funny you say that Manny , I planned on knocking out my brake pads and rotors this weekend. Time to get rid of all this crazy brake dust on this 530I.

Funny you bring that up, I still have to install the brakes on our 530i and install my new bumper. Sounds like a mod day brewing up.

Sounds like you have a pretty solid game plan. You'll definitely feel a nice bump after you install the intercooler and run stage 1+ maps. What wheels are you going with? Suspension mods are definitely worth it and allow you to enjoy your car a lot more. There's a lot of info out there, so stay focus on what you want your car to be. It's easy to get caught up different mods that you don't need and you'll later realize that $$$ have been wasted. Best bet is to create a plan and stick with it. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Yeah, I'm currently running the OTS E30 map and it feels like it's pulling stronger and stronger everyday. Updated turbos or meth (maybe both) coming soon.

Yowza!! Upgraded turbos!!

Definitely seems like a slippery slope, when does the mod itch get satisfied!
Going with these rims, black rear lip concave machined face. Theyre heavy but it should be fine

Honestly man the biggest issue Im having right now is getting the power to the ground. Really have to be easy on the throttle just to get traction. Hoping new tires and suspension will help. Im sure your traction issues have to be crazy too

This is what it's all about. BTW, those are some nice wheels! I thought about switching minds up to be different since the CSL style is so common, but they keep growing on me. The new tires and suspension upgrades will definitely help. This cold weather and slick streets out here are an overall bad combination for good traction . I can't get traction from a dig or going WOT <4th gear, but I don't have the best of tires. However, in the summer when my tire grips... . I'm working with Evolution Racewerk and I'm on their waiting list to get installed a WaveTrac LSD. I'm tired of going sideways down drag strips and when I go on my spirited drives while it's cold out. After literally flying off the road (DRIFTING ON RANGE ROAD !), I can't wait. Until then, I'll be switching back to stage 2+ drive. At your power level, you should be fine with the PSS and suspension mods. My coilovers are my by far favorite mod.

SN: The way I see it, the mod itch will never be satisfied.

The way I see it, the mod itch will never be satisfied. But in my case, after I complete Stage 3: Suspension & Brakes and Stage 4: Cosmetics of my project.

Stage 3
StopTech stage 2 upgrade kit (in the mail), stage 2 clutch when my stock one get burnt out, PSS when my Hancraps are tossed and a LSD.
Stage 4
Arkym lip, performance high kick spoiler, M3 side skirts, M Sport rear with CF diffuser, and some interior parts here in there.

Almost done! The only reason I'm getting upgraded turbos is to get rid of my wastegate rattles. I'm satisfied with my current power setup, but if I'm going to pay to get them replaced, might as well upgrade for a few hundred more. I'm definitely not in a rush since I'm planning on keeping the car for a long time.

Bro that's going to be a crazy set up
I have to look those mods up man but it sounds like you put a lot of research in to that game plan. Kudos on that.

Definitely throw some pics up as it comes together. Car looks smokin already.

Expect to hear from me as I start putting my list together haha!
