Help with Mod's

Hi All,

Just starting to get into the modding world and I could do with some help..

Can you get the folding mirrors to operate via the key whilst opening & locking the vehicle?

Where is the best place to buy a Aero front bumper from? I have seen some on ebay from Poland at around £60, need painting and fitting.

Anyone recommend a good window tinting company near Reading?

MSport side skirts, any recommendations where to buy from?

Thanks everyone!!!!

Garage List
The mirrors no longer fold via the ignition - only by the switch on the door. This feature was removed after August 2006 builds.

Hold on, mine is a August 06 build. Any chance I can get the mirrors programmed on my key?

Hi mate. Phone Sextons reading about the tinting, its half the price of Pentagon and just as good a job.

Ask to speak to Andy and say Mega sent you.

Next. I'd call B&W Chiptune in Surrey to see if they can sort the auto folding. They can program pretty much anything, and if its possible - then Jason there will be able to sort you out.

Finally, SSDD motorsport can sort the side skirts and aero kit including painting for you. Check out www.ssdd-motorsport.com

Oh, finally again - as your a mod nut, this is a little cheeky - but you should totally join AHEM !!! Try this one again and I'll be after you!! Mod

The mirrors can be programmed to fold with the key. All you need is to have the dealer activate a code on the car using their ISIS/GT1 machine. The code is listed in the retrofit/activations options on the dealer programming machines.

Thanks E92, any ideas how much a dealer would charge for this kind of thing?

Hey MEGA,

I joined the website and put you down as the referrer. Looks really good, thanks matey. I'll be sure to check out the window tinting company. Have you had yours done? I here some people have problems with the rear window?

Not yet but I have had all my previous cars done there. What E92fan is saying is correct, then again he always is. If you can get a dealer to do it cheaply then go for it. I'm certain B&W Chiptune will be able to do it as well though

And therein lies the rub - it's easy for a dealer to do, and quick for the dealer to do, but is it cheap for the consumer ?! Is it bunnies...

Hello B&W Chiptune..... !!!!!!
