The V-6 is actually a license built R35 GT-R motor that BMW makes very very limited quantities of. The engine block is made out of steel-woven carbon fiber. The pistons are forged unobtanium. The intake is laser cut from diamonds. The turbos are made from actual giant snail shells found in South America.

This allows the car to achieve horsepower figures north of 2000hp, but since they are hand built actual power may vary.
