efn pot holoes

Hi,

new member to the forum but have been reading with interest for many many months, so hoping i may benefit from the wealth of knowledge that exists.

I recently hit a pot hole driving at 60mph, resulting in a buckled wheel !

A new 313m wheel will cost $540 from the stealers plus approx $280 for a tyre.

I am not a big fan of the wheels but when i ordered the car it was either these on the 18's, so opted for them anyway...

I am thinking of changing the 313m wheels and I have seen a set of CSL type wheels and got confused on sizes,,,

I have 4 new tyres from a previous E92, these are 10mm wider on both the front and rear - 235 fronts and 265 rears,

current
front 19x8 offset 37 225/35/19
rear 19x9 offset 39 255/30/19

new
front 19x8.5 offset 38 235/35/19
rear 19x9.5 offset 35 255/30/19

Would the new wheels and proposed tyre widths cause any problems, as I have read on the form that the LCI cars have a wider track ??

As you can probably guess I am NOT technically gifted !!

Cheers,

I have CSL style Alufelgen wheels which are the same size as the ones you've mentioned above and I'm running the exact same tyre size.

As long as the offsets are suitable for the e93, the wheels will fit fine. It was the e90/e91 that had a wider track with the LCI, the e92 and e93 were the same AFAIK. Find out the offset of the wheels and it will be easier to find out if they will fit.

thanks guys,

offsets are as follows,

current
front ET 37
rear ET 39

new
front ET 38
rear ET 35

????

your thoughts, are these workable or is the difference in ET a deal breaker ?

cheers

Shouldn't have any problems there, the rears are the same as the ones I have and the fronts are 3mm more tucked in than mine, which again is fine.
