New N54 injector warranty extension for 2010 cars

Just saw on another forum that BMW North America has extended the warranty on injectors for 2010 and some 2011 cars with the N54 engine to 10 years / 120K miles. I'm going to submit a claim for my Rock Auto replacements. I doubt I'll be reimbursed but it's worth the cost of a stamp to try:

With the N54 engine

For the above-referenced vehicles, BMW of North America, LLC (“BMW NA”) is extending the limited warranty for the fuel injectors to:

Still no love for 5/2009 build date. Had mine done a year ago, I think the parts are all bad prior to the -11 revision but I still can't do anything with this extension. Cost more than an arm and a leg...

Sweet, my car's production date is on there. No more paying 1000+ for injectors.

Apparently the reimbursement program doesn't start until mid-January so hold off submitting a claim for a few weeks:

The reimbursement request options that follows are planned to be available on or after the week of 1/11/2016.

I have a 2010 335 that falls under this warranty. Today I have heavy engine vibrations and some loss of power around 50 mph/ 2.5 rpm. This could be injectors but also could be coils, plugs, vanos, etc.

What are my chances of getting all new injectors?

I called BMW NA out of curiosity since I did the work myself and got the injectors from Rock Auto.

They said I would need to have an authorized dealer inspect the work. Possible half hour or 1 hour diagnostic fee.

After they verify the work was done and done correctly they would then send up the reimbursement paperwork to BMW NA. Also need to show proof of purchase from said supplier of the injectors, in this case Rock Auto.

It seems worth it. Even if I spend $100 in diag fee, the injector still cost $600+.

For anyone that had the labor done at an independent shop or BMW it's even easier as you just need proof of payment and invoice.

UPDATE:

I called BMW NA again for a 2nd and 3rd opinion.

I got new instructions to simply file a proof of purchase using the website www.BMW-RP.com

You can not file for reimbursement if you haven't already. Just follow Jeff's steps

To clarify, BMW NA told me to file here ( www.BMW-RP.com )as this is the "NEW WAY". That's after getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion from BMW NA.

My other rant about going to the dealer is apparently the "Old Way".

For any other questions, just call BMW NA and speak to a representative if your vehicle is on the above list.

So I talked to my dealer last week and asked them about SI B01 02 15 n54 limited warranty extension, and they said it didn't exist. I called BMW NA today and asked them about SI B01 02 15 and they said it didn't exist.

I have a leaking injector that i need to get fixed asap. I bought one from ecs tuning as I only needed one and it was guaranteed to oem index 12.

So my only option is to get the injector installed by a INDY and file for a refund?

My car is a e90 335i made in 5/2009 so it falls within the production dates.
