Question about bmw warranty
I was wondering if bmw keeps stuff on file, like say if I went into one dealership with a headlight fix due to a rock chip from the road, and they said its not covered under warranty due to operator error. does that mean I don't have warranty on my headlamp anymore?
Also for example, I get a cheap headlamp from someone on this forum (they quoted me $2000), the next time I bring it to the dealer, would they say anything?

You should be fine. They dont care that much to keep every detail. Just buy your headlights used why would you pay $2k.
For example: I had my rear brakes done in April and they forgot to reset the service light and I just didnt care about it. I went in for my fuel pump a couple of months later and the same guy tries to sell me a rear brake job. I was like buddy you guys just did the rear brakes! He was like really? Moral of the story most SA's are totally clueless. |
