Exclamation 359M (M3 ZCP) Wheels on E90 Fitment Thread (Lots of Pictures)

Related thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=488328

Thanks to ebisu8 and others for their help.

Recently got a set of OEM 359M wheels with Michelin PS2 tires. The specifications are as follows.

19x9 ET31 - 245/35/19
19x10 ET25 - 265/35/19

I currently have VMR VB3s with Hankook V12 Evo tires.

19x8.5 ET40 - 245/35/19
19x10 ET38 - 275/30/19

This thread will cover my progress in getting them to fit my E90. I know the rear tires will be a problem (265/35 is too tall). Also the ET25 rears will be too aggressive and will require fender rolling. I am dropped on Bilstein PSS9 coilovers (look at my other threads for photos on how low I am).

I test-fitted the 359Ms as they come just for fun and took the following photos so you can compare the fitment between the VB3s and the 359Ms.

The fronts fit perfectly! The rears will need some help but I believe it's do-able.

I am planning on replacing the tires with 245/35 and 275/30 Bridgestone RE-11s. I will continue to update the thread during the whole process.

If you have any questions, post them in this thread instead of PMing me so others can benefit from the information.

Enjoy!

"Just" a fender roll, raising the rear a little, and maybe some more negative camber should be good enough with the 275/30 tires. ebisu8 is running 265/30 on his E92 and the E90 has a little more room out back from what I hear.

Cool, they looks much better than the once you had.
Just get some 30 profile rear tires instead of those fat 265/35/19 Michelin tires.

Ordered a set!

Ordered a set tonight from Tisher for 2100 some change. Will be running 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 rear. I am not lowered just have perf suspension so hopefully no rubbing but do you think I should get my fenders rolled anyways? Sometimes I have 6 girls in the car about 120 pound average for each, would it rub?

The M3 ZCP set-up is amazing and congrats on finding a set, and attempting to achieve proper fitment... your a trailblazer. I've been contemplating on purchasing a set myself and was in the process of researching. Thanks to you, my job is now that much easier.

Can you please give me an idea of the weight difference between your previous set-up and the ZCP.

I'll be glued to this post and your progress. Good luck.

Here's a weight comparison based on information I've found on the forums (ZCP vs. VB3)...

Front wheels: 26 vs. 25 lb
Rear wheels: 28 vs. 26 lb

Yes, they weigh more. I think it's a good trade-off though considering they're flow-formed (like Forgestars). I could use the extra strength for Atlanta potholes.

The weights I found are slightly different....26 lbs front and 26.8 lbs rear

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=179

So only about a pound heavier than VB3.

I think the VB3 weights may even be optimistic (the vendors claim 25 and 26 lb).

There is no comparison in my book its like comparing a candle light lobster dinner to a McDonalds happy meal. I am very happy I can sport quality, strong and fancy OEM wheels .

Nice! That will look pretty sweet! Since I daily drive my car, it won't be too long before I'll need to refinish them. I'm thinking bright orange lol!
