360 rear wheel? Nice.

Will the JB4 on a 335is produce any more power than a regular N54?

For bragging rights the digital readout on the dyno hit 365whp for a fraction of a second.

No once you put on the JB4 its in control of the ecu. IS still has more cooling (oil/water) then stock, more open exhaust, a few other bits & suspension pieces, 7DCT transmission but the motors are pretty much the same as the 335i.

The 335is & the JB+ are pretty close.

Looks like I know what I will ask Santa for this year.

What other mods are you planning next?

None right now. The car is limited by its tires now from a dead stop & am using 2nd gear. Maybe catted downpipes to bring into the 380whp range but that will be all...car is under warrantee & it would be a PIA to pull off a bunch of stuff for factory paid work.

Just looking for something a little extra over pure stock not the 11 second club

Shouldn't be an issue to launch unless you just mash the gas every time

Pair it up with a good set of DPs and you will have a bigger punch

Great dyno graph of an otherwise stock car running a JB4! Thanks, just what I was looking for

OP - you might have gotten better numbers running on map 5. Map 2 is optimized for catless DPs and I think with map 2 the timing is off compared the what you'd normally want to be running if you're without catless DPs. Map 5 would compensate for that, and even Map 1 will cause your timing to be running within good parameters considering your exhaust. Mike@N54 tuning told me running map 2 should be okay with 93 octane, an intake, and a catback exhaust, but that doesn't mean that I can get the most power out of it that way, just that it's "safe" to.

bmwpride, you'd probably have less. the JB+ adds 40-50 HP to the wheels, not to the crank. So in terms of RWHP, a stock 135/335/535 seems to have about 270-285 rwhp, depending on the car. Plus 40 horses would put it at 310-325 RWHP. Obviously, to do this, the JB+ has to add more than 40 horses at the crank, so your gains before the powertrain power loss will probably go from 300 hp to 360/370ish at the crank.

what about with an xi with BMS DCI r u looking at the same numbers obviously with more loss to the crank?
