no maintenance history when searching for a bmw registered in quebec

im in the US and when i check the carfax or ask a friend of mine who works at BMW to do a service history check, there's 0 maintence results..
I'm only getting odomoter readings from something called carproof. whats going on here... any insight is appreciated!

carproof is the Canadian version of carfax. we don't use carfax.

the carproof I have just shows me odometer reading from BMW.... what does this mean

thats all you're going to get. it doesn't show maintenence history. you have to take the key to a dealer to find that out.
