My car is a 2010 135 with base audio 4" full in front n back n 8" under seat. It was a lease that I am returning, I removed it whole it was plug n play. Perhaps Technics would know better what it fits

My car (2009 328i E90) has stock hifi speakers and came with the bmw professional radio head unit. I want to make the sound system sound better. I plan to add the JL XD600/6 6 channel amp, use Audiocontrol center 6 Ch line converter to link the OEM amp to the new Amp. I will be using a 4G amp kit and RCA.
I do not want to replace the factory Amp but instead improve it using the JL aftermarket Amp basically not messing with the fiber optic system already in the car. Please does this makes sense? Am i on the right track here? I am in Canada and it is hard to get any help here.

I feel your pain, its not an easy car to simply throw a part or two at it. Keeping the head unit is not the hard part, but better speakers, an amp and for many of us ( not sure about your car ) need a processor of some sort to sum the signal. For many of us getting tweeters and mids in the doors and a better speaker below the seat with an amp and processor yields huge results. In many cases where the head unit has some eq built in adding new speakers will be facing that eg'd signal as opposed to a full range signal. Just ask those who bought the BSW speakers the improvement was merely modest. Get used to the fact that you need an amp, processor and speakers and some sweat. At that point you will not be sorry IMHO.

If you have a seperate amp the eq might be taking place there, I would find that out if I were you. I'm not an expert on your model but if so then you can get a full signal from your head unit to the amp to the speakers with their crossovers or your audiocontrol.

Tweeters n mids Yes

Rainbow CS210 Is a component set a tweeter, 4inch mid n crossover. The retail is $700 n they fit the car. The Morel ADMW 9 replaces the the mid sub under the seats an also fit with ease. I ran a JL Audio XD amp 600/6 feeding these with a JBL MS8 processor. All bought new n professionally installed and removed. The other stuff sold already these speakers are left as well as a burger racing JB+ chip and the twin filter intakes that I'm about to post.
