Probably wont make a difference unless your driving 80+, even then, maybe 1-2 HP.

The scoops will help increase airflow at speed, and should be considered if you're looking to squeeze every oz. of performance out of your engine.

The other thing to consider about aFe is that they are one of the few manufacturers that casts their filters with a urethane surround that is held back by a metal comb. This prevents the urethane from dripping down into the filter element and blocking flow. While the difference is not huge, it's these little improvements that set them apart IMO.

Yeah - you now can go 0-60 in 5.38 as appose to 5.40 secs = every oz counts.

But then again - even knowing that - I still bought the AFE CAI kit for me 330i - love the sound.

Now that I have a 335i - I might just do the same. Isn't spending $ great

It wont make as much of a difference with the turbos vs. NA. Our cars don't work off MAF sensors. You're money would be better spent on a tune. Also, drop in filters don't really make any difference in sound according to most who run them.
