Just been to a trackday on Cadwell and brake warning lights come on on way there, noticed i couldnt get over 100mph with a huge loss of power, thought somethin was a miss when i couldnt keep up with focus st ect, on way home i got a particle filter error. any ideas how much for new dpf although i have always liked the idea of a dpf removal

dpf removal will cost same amount as a new dpf.
you can try to re-gen yours but this will only work for a period of time. for dpf removal go to ecotune scotland best guys around. |

I have been told by BMW Assist that the best way to get a regen to run properly is to keep engine revs above 2000 RPM. So that just over 80MPH in a manual 325D, which if course would be considered speeding which of course is not allowed. So 5th gear and your fine. Not sure about an auto though.
