UUC Sway Bars for 325i worth it?
After doing some reading on strut bars it would seem that they are not worth the money and that I would be better off going with a sway bar upgrade on my 325i.
I was looking at getting the UUC sway bar set. Can anyone tell me if these are worth the money? On a few threads UUC seems to make good quality stuff at good prices. Also would upgrading my sway bars truly be worth it on a 325i? If not, what suspension upgrade should I be looking at for handling? Thanks. Last edited by Snyperx; 10-20-2011 at 10:03 AM.. |

UUC bar is nice, but there are other things you should probably do first to increase handling.
After more reading, I think you'll find the progression goes... Tires - better ride, more grip, and the RFTs blow Camber plates - increased negative camber for more grip M3 front arms - more camber and firmer bushings Shocks and springs - should install at the same time as camber plates M3 rear bits F&R sway bars - maybe combined with LSD because it requires dropping the rear subframe to install, plus you probably don't want the front bar without the rear bar. The bars should be the final piece in fine tuning your suspension. LSD - for the super enthusiast It is a slippery slope once you start modding your car. Good luck and have fun with it.
