E92 335xi compatible hitch, hidden,with PDC disarm?

Is there a hitch that specifically fits the e92 335xi , is hidden when not in use via a 90* adaptor, as well as does not require any cutting, and hopefully works well?

I have searched back years and do not see a specific solution for this criterion.

Anyone have a hitch compatible with a 2008 e92 335xi with these criteria?

Do they make a plug and play trailer wiring adaptor?
Is there a way to disable PDC only when trailer wiring is plugged in ?

There is a hitch that is hidden and I am not sure but don't know if it fits the x. You remove the bumper and the bumper housing and it fits directly with no drilling (like my hidden hitch). Wiring is pretty simple there are companies that sell a good 4 wire system and I just tuck it inside the trunk for easy use and it keeps it clean. The only way I know you can get the back up ultrasonic sensors to be defeated is to wire a cut out for the power to them. I know of no kit.

Ya saw that, it was on a 335d, and I don't see anything on the “invisihitch/hiddenhitch” site...
http://www.hiddenhitch.com/content/p...ID=1010&part=0

The 335d seems like the exhaust is fairly similar to the 335xi, does this in any way infer compatibility assuming I can track it down?

TBH I didn't really understand the invisihitch mode of attachment from the pics posted in that thread either... Seems overly convoluted from my perception.

As well as it seems to require cutting the rear skin...unless I am missing something?

Thanks.

Anyone have any experience with constructing one?
This is the closest thing I can find to what I really want.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=18

I built one for my other car, but its semi hard to find the tubing components in appropriate specifications.

But I believe using the 90* adaptor would be a far better tact than a special hitch, which is what I did before... (so I learned something there)

Anyone know if there is their a ready made 90* 1.25” to 1.25” receiver

I think this is essentially what I want, if not a bit more refined in execution...

The BMW factory ones that are detachable are made by Westfalia. They are very well made and extremely strong. I have one on the E91. Here is the E92 model:

p.s. you can turn PDC off from iDrive

Thanks !
For whatever reasons, I was hoping to go with the more standard options with the adaptable square tubing...

I need a 1-1/4", 1.25" receiver to adapt to not only towing, but facilitating a hitch mount bike rack.

As well as the versatility afforded by having easily differing height ball mounts.

Anywhere to pick up a "Valley 81821 Trailer Hitch" ?
Anyone out there have a helpful lead?

For the PDC, still looking obviously....
But I was hoping there was a easy to use plug in module that would sense when a 4 pin plug was in use, and deactivate the PDC...

I didnt think it was out of the realm of possibility that this would exist...
But I have not found it...

Is this even a thing?
To be able to disarm the PDC via a trailer in use mode?

Curt 11033 hitch will work . .they have the wrong part number on Amazon but if you read the reviews there is a guy who gives this part number and a BMW specific supplier also sells this part number as a match but you can buy it on Amazon for $165.00 or so.

The Curt is a “horizontal” mount correct?
As opposed to a vertical mount receiver?

So I finally got my hands on a Valley 81821 Trailer Hitch with a vertical hidden 90* adaptor.

Is there a thread that covers the different 6 to 4 wire electrical adaptors that will work well with a 3 series, and perhaps a tutorial on how to properly wire said adaptor as well as where the best places to tie into the stock wiring?

Still looking for a PDC (Park Distance Control) lockout, anyone have details on this?

I did find this, but still looking for details on this, and experience from someone that might have conquered this issue already?
