Now the fun begins. Trying to get up the hill. so I could get home. You know any drop of snow, and BMW's with rwd, and summers suck! It will all be gone by tomorrow afternoon.

I don't quite get it. If you routinely see enough snow to get stuck a few times each winter, why not just get snow tires?
A full set of any new winter tires and you'll nearly never get stuck unless you do something stupid. edit: Not talking to OP, just people that complain about snow in general. Last edited by Ricke90; 12-24-2012 at 07:43 PM.. Reason: Clarification |

If this "nor'easter" ish storm hits the Tri-state on Saturday, then ill get my money's worth for sure on these winters.
Call me a kook, but actually looking forward to how they do in it. I definitely get the whole winter beater car thing, but it just doesn't work for some of us, for varying reasons. This is my daily driver and my everyday car. As far as my situation, I don't want the hassle of having to upkeep and insure another car, nor do I have the space on the property for multiple cars, so I figure why not enjoy it every day the year? A lesser reason is if I get smacked in a major accident (god forbid), I would rather be inside my BMW, than in some tin can. Good luck to everyone out there during this winter season, and be safe- whatever you drive. |
