Attended a BMW Advanced Driver Training programme. A whole day event, 4 Instructors with 20 participants, divided into 2 groups.

Held in our Sepang F1 circuit area with track fascination.

Our ride for the day. New E90 LCI 325 M Sport with tires sponsored by Conti.

After a 1hr class, we were assigned to our rides. 2 in a car, where each take turns to do the skills.

After learning the 'correct' seating position (all of us felt really uncomfortable then) we head on to the circuit starting with the double handed slalom.

After a warm up lap, we all had a chance to run against the clock! Winners are rewarded!

Next up, emergency braking. We had to STOMP the break pedal at the indicated cone and hope not to hit the one in front!

ABS was in full force. Speed travel up to 70km/h

Emergency change lane at full speed. No braking while we turn the steering 180 degrees in a quick flash and steer back to next lane.

Next, Brake ~ Steer ~ Avoid.

Travel speed of up to 70km/h, emergency brake and steer next lane to avoid obstacle head on. Not easy for all!

Instructors on site to give comments.

Understeer & oversteer. We are asked to drive with the DSC off & on. Also learn to counter oversteer.
