I ended up (apparently, some people are so touchy) insulting someone at work when I flipped and shouted "IT'S FUCKING 'SPECIFICALLY' - IT'S GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH OCEANS!!" after he said "pacifically" about 4 times in less than a minute.
Didn't help it was a clients rep.

It never ceases to amaze me how often people report how they 'brought' this or that from a shop/store/seller when they in fact mean 'bought'.
Irritates the hell out of me because it leads me to question how someone with such limited grammatical abilities can hold down a good paying job (that allows them to afford cars like BMWs)? Anyhow, drive safe people! |

As for definitely - well, I blame these auto spell check things which I'm almost certain, if you type the word slightly wrong, it changes it to defiantly. Edit....scrap that, just tested it and I'm full of shit. |

How about thankyou? At the moment I'm dealing with the business manager at a local school who insists on typing thankyou in every email. Twice in the last one.

I’m no grammar Nazi. But It does wind me up when people email me using smart phones and write in the style of sending a txt.
