Autopower Race Roll Bar
Hey guys,
I tried to search but couldn't find anything. I'm looking for a roll bar/harness bar for my 335I coupe that will allow me to keep my seats.... I've seen AE and it looks great but I have to remove my seats.... Any feedback on Autopower's stuff...... Thanks in advance! -Matt

I have heard bad things about Roll bars/Harness bars in general and I would recommend a roll cage over that.. I would recommend Schroth Harness as they can use the back seat seatbelts or even bolt in to the secure points under the rear seats.

With any roll bar the rear seats will be unusable. You can still reinstall them if you want to, but there will be no way for passengers to get back there.
Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Dustin Boyko |

Do you have pics of what it looks like with the seats back in? I also have a questions about how to install the Schroth harness in the rear. In the pic, where does the eye go?

Wolfe,
I don't have any pics at the moment with the back seats in. It's totally doable, but so far we haven't had a need to reinstall them. You can reinstall them, they just won't be usable at all. Regarding the Schroth harness, I can't view your picture. Can you try and re upload it? Thanks! Dustin Boyko Quote:

Wolfe,
The harness that you have was designed to bolt to the floor of the car. I usually try to stay away from those harnesses because if you do get into an accident it puts more stress on your shoulders, and can cause serious injury. We use the Schroth Hybrid II which is designed to connect to the harness/roll bar. Here's a picture of the one we use in our cars. There might be a way to turn your Y harness into a regular strap harness. I'm not too sure though. Regards, Dustin Boyko |

Thanks Dustin,
If you can take a pic of the seats re-installed, that would be great. I understand they will not be usable but I'm going for a clean look. I will do research on that schroth harness. Thanks!
