Yes I bought the service pack. Get your colleague to specify the visibility pack - the dynamic lights are brilliant.

The all black dash looks awesome. Very slick.

Really nice. I keep spotting the occassional M Sport around the place; as usual, the styling just gives the asphetics of the standard car a nice lift. Interior is very nice.

Ha ha, knew it looked wrong, but couldn't be bothered spell-checking it .
Here... ...aesthetics .

They certainly are a good place to be, the interior works so well, shame the steering and ride quality is not so good as standard. IMO, needs the Sport Auto with DDC and Adaptive Drive to get the car sorted to true E39 standard. The 535i is a superb and refined car and my choice out of the line up. Let's hope the new E30 takes some lessons from the F10 and delivers a similar package, in smaller form, as the F10 is now a very large car. HighlandPete |

+1 on the black dash. It makes all messages, lights appear as if on one sheet of glass and very easy to read. Combined with the media pack, looks a big step up over my 320. But I'm sure we'll see some of these features appear in the 3-series replacement next year

Reversing camera is good now I've worked out what the guidance lines mean...

As you twirl the steering wheel the green grid actually moves to show your path. You can get to a car park spot (say) and turn the wheel so the grid lines hit the lines in the parking space. Then just drive in
You can also see your bumper's edge (covered in raindrops...) so you can accurately judge your gap. It also shows on the conventional PDC display too.

Looks really smart, probably the best all round car in the world? I could sorely be tempted myself but how does the 4 cylinder engine sound in the 5 in terms of refinement and vibration? it sounds like a bag of bollocks in a 3
