two things not "working" on '08 E93??

on the '08 E93 i have (thinking about switching to S5), two things don't seem to be working:

1. "follow-me home" lights. On the '07 model, if I pulled the highbeam knob toward me and my car was off, the headlights would go on for a specific amount of time

2. the doors don't automatically lock when the car is moving

Are these programmable features, if so, how?

Both these features are programmable through the iDrive. In the main menu screen, press down on the knob. This will bring u to the settings menu. Scroll down to where it says Vehicle settings. From here, you can tell the headlights how many seconds you want them to be on after you turn off the car. You can also click the options of locking the doors automatically when driving from this window.

Hope this helps

If you don't have iDrive you have to sit with the owner's menu in hand, scratch your head, and figure it out the long handed way. That's why I think iDrive is great although not everybody here agree.

because of these two things...

you are going to blow another 80,000 for a S5?

Over here in Vancouver, the wait time is roughly 9 months.

If you do sell your e93 335, I might be interested (I will give you somewhat more than the trade in price)

Look in the manual. There should be a way to program those features.

Both are in the manual and won't take you long to do.
