Diesel particulate filter
Do you know when I remove diesle particulate filter on my 320d how it will work with pressure indicators? I would like to remove the filter permanently because the new one seems to be too costy for me but I am afraid how it will work with the electrics in the car? Do you have any experience on this?
Thanks |

If you want to remove your dpf, you need to reprogram the ecu in order to bypass the dpf cleaning procedures. You also need to get a replacement pipe for the dpf. After you do this everything should be fine and the car will run a lot smoother, although you may see soot coming out of the exhaust.
I will do this next week |
