New Owner e92 335i

After almost buying a new 335d/330d as a 'one car does it all' solution I decided to keep my Astra Estate for work/family and get a nice 335i coupé. I wanted to buy a BMW AUC for the 12m warranty, but was also picky on mileage and condition.

I managed to find this little beauty:

E92 335i SE
Montego Blue Metallic
Cream Beige Dakota Leather interior
Hi-Gloss Trim
Lumber Support

The main sell was it's a 1 owner/12000 miles car in absolutely MINT condition.

Appreciate the lowish spec, but with it being a second car the lack of NAV isn't the be-all and end-all. Plus it would have pushed the price up by 2k.

The last fast-ish car I owned was a 2009 Audi TTS so interested how you think the car will compare?

Also interested in any tuning advice for the biggest 'bang for buck'. I'm interested in what option are out there?

Can't wait to collect next week, enjoy the pics..

Welcome
Loving the blue and cream combo

Bang for buck has got to be the JB4. Great value for money

Although other options available, have a look at the below.

Hadn't spotted that, I'll mention it to the dealers! make sure it's sorted before I collect.

Welcome along.

That's very low miles for a 56 plate.

Those headlamp washers are a pain in the arse. I lost another one today and mild conditions too.

I'm sure you will enjoy. 3 litre of twin turbo power, manual box and rwd. You can't go wrong surely?

not many of us manual 335i owners around buddy, great cars. I toy every so often about changing mine but never found anything that could replace it. Fab cars.

Nice mate, as said a manual 335i will be fun.

I've seen some very reasonable 335i's on the AUC site. It looks like that more than the plate is missing with the headlight washer, maybe the whole unit? Definitely get that sorted by them. I think it's bad they took the pics for it with it like that. I'd also open all the cubby holes, and check everything before you collect. It'll be a lot easier to get them to sort things before you pick up rather than after.

Other than that, enjoy and let us know what it's like.

I think the dealer would have to replace it.

Headlamp washers are a requirement for xenon headlamps to pass a MOT.

Nice clean looking car mate. Well done. In standard trim it should be quicker than the TTS!

It's all a trade off though and it seems the buyer is fully aware of what he has bought.

I think everyone agrees toys are nice, but saving thousands is also attractive to others.
