Blacked Out P90 V2 Follow Up Review

So I finally converted from halogens to these back in December. My camera decided to not cooperate with me that day so I never got decent close ups of the lights. I was bored tonight and redid it properly and thought I'd give you guys my thoughts after about 3 months of use.

The lights are bright, like holy crap I can see your AE in bright daylight from over a block away. Day or night these things are awesome, since I never did a LCI front end conversion I never got the cool LED turn signals. With these though they changed it to the LCI style turn signal but in a pre lci light, pretty convenient for those that don't have the $$$ for the whole conversion. Condensation... the biggest problem with aftermarket headlights or if you black them out ourself. It's been raining a lot more than usual out here in Cali in the past few months but they have been holding up great actually. No condensation like my OEM ones lol. Light output is very consistent unlike the old halogens, clear and bright very close to OEM projectors but not quite. HIDs match AE very well although at night I do get flashed by old people because they think that the AE are the low beams and my actual low beam is my high beam, so I flash them right back just to show them Overall I'm very pleased and all is well.

Looks nice! Is there a way where you can run just the halos without the side orange LEDs for like the day-time running lights? I have these as well and have been trying to figure it out.

Nope. No error codes it all. When I ordered them off eBay, I made sure it came with error code cancelers.

Did you code it yourself?
How long did it take?

no, the guys at LTMW took the initiative to code everything in the car when they installed the headlights

Took another lol coding makes the AE look so much cleaner

Thanks, I'd do anything to have my car white lol I'd do LCI conversion if I did though. I've been thinking about a lip for a while but honestly the Vorsteiner lip is some $$$ and even if you got the V style rep I still don't love it. It doesn't really go to the the very end of the bumper, its thick and bulky... idk
I'd get a Kersher lip in a second if I could find one for sale.

sorry, i personally think all depo headlights look cheap and tacky. sure, the AE's are now brighter and more visible, but the overall look and feel of the headlights still look like the same cheap headlights a civic/tahoe/whateverbrand put on to get AE's too. it's just the details that annoy me... the spacing of the leds in the AE, the projector shroud used, the size of the AE rings, the number (lack of) of leds used in the turn signal area, the visual combination of the led signal holes with the pre-lci amber brows... just everything looks weird and overly aftermarket.

im just picky like that. hahah
