How do you clean your rims?

Straight forward question, how do you go about doing it? I do it by hand however quickly realized there must be better & easier methods haha. Also, what product do you use to get all dat nasty shit off?

I just rins the crap out of the wheels then use a lathered microfiber towel and go to town with it. It's a pain in the rear especially with my VSXX but I guess its just part of the game. Also don't wait until your wheels are super dirty to the point its caked with crap to wash.

I pay $40 for a hand car wash and they clean them for me barrels and all.

Sonax wheel cleaner is very popular.

Grab one of those Griots gloves that you put on up to your wrist, get it all soapy and stick it in there!

I use a microfiber glove or a soft brush I have. However, imo, it's all about a good sealant and wax and some pads with low break dust. My rims really only get dirty cause of rain and they clean so well the hard part is drying them.

Rinse, Sonax Wheel Cleaner (not plus), microfiber towel to agitate, rinse, dry, Megs. Ultimate Quik Wax.

Been meaning to order a brush per Hadley's recommendation, but haven't ordered detailing supplies in a while.

I highly recommend not pre-rinsing the wheel, as the wheel cleaner is intended to be used on a dry wheel. Just make sure the brakes aren't hot..so don't do it right after driving.

The best thing to do for ease of maintenance is protect the wheel once its clean with either a sealant such as Sonax Polymer Net Shield, or a more permanent option such as a 2-year rim coating (22PLE VM1 Rim and Metal coat). It makes maintenance cleanings painless.
Damn this is awesome to know! Thank you! I just picked up 3 wheel brushes (small, med & large) from detailedimage.com for exactly this
