Question on alignments

Searched but was unable to find a conclusion so ....

If the ride was aligned (and in this case the Hunter Hawkeye elite) and right after that, I bring the ride out for a spin for 10 minutes - What should I expect when I bring the ride back, put it on the Hunter and take measurements again ?

Should the latest reading be any different (e.g camber and toe) from the reading just before I took the ride for a spin ?

I got very different readings each time I try this ......

Theoretically it should be the same or close to it.

Did you jack up the car right before your first read?

Was jacked up but not with the wheels drooping down. So its not the springs being unsettled.

That is the reason. The wheels position change whenever you jack up the car (even they were not drooping ). You will have to let the wheels go back to their position by going for a drive before the 1st alignment.

The hunter has a platform which the 4 tires rest on. The platform would then be raised. So it's not being jacked up in the usual sense.
