Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric vs Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Hey guys, After doing some research I have narrowed my choice for new tires to these two for my style 230 reps . What do you guys think?

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

in size 225/35/19 and 255/30/19

Or

Continental ExtremeContact DWS (High performance All-season)

in size 235/35/19 and 265/30/19

I am by no means a tire expert but the Goodyear is an ultra high performance summer tire while the Continental is, as you state, an all-season. So the choice is more of a choice of tire type than tire. Are you looking for a 40+ degree tire or are you looking for an all weather (but no deep snow and ice) tire? Note that you will sacrifice ultimate handling, initial turn in feel and high heat sustainability with the Conti. My choice would be to go with the Goodyear Asymmetric, but I don't get too much snow.

Excellent points above. Basically, if these will be driven in snow, or if you want to get more treadlife, get the Conti. If you're in it for the performance, do the Goodyear.

I've had the Goodyears. They're a great tire. I don't have ay experience with the Contis.
