I don't think GottaBeKD was referring to Iaknown's set-up. He is running a diff cone filter with no heat shield, not true CAI.

Track Update

I really like the extra whooshing sound when you get on it and once you let off. Added a deeper sound to the car which was already deep sounding from the custom exhaust.
I can feel the power its adds in the mid and upper power range. My car is stage 3 custom with all the upgrades that go with that from Andrew Rodriguez.
Just an update on using this air intake system at the track 1/4 mile.
I went to the track last night, I ran a best of 12.48@112mph with a crappy 60ft of 1.88. Previous best was 12.56@111mph with 60ft of 1.77 only change was the custom air intake system. Its safe to say it added a 1/10 sec and 1mph.
I noticed the power increase in mid and upper range. I think the claim 15-20hp increase is spot on. i hope to get a dyno number this sat.
It was a blast out pulling the Camaro and Mustangs on the top end in MPH.

Yes, this is the cough "track only car" cough.
I don't have meth on it (yet) I want to reach the 11 sec range on tune, I'm waiting on something that is in the works that should get me there.
Next time out at the track I'm going to try manual shift and launch it out of 2nd. I always seem to lose about 2 tenths on the start because its hit the 1st gear trans limiter with DSC off.

Are you referring to the transmission tune, or is there another goody for our cars coming soon?

Well list as follows:
1st series Hybrid Turbos (Next step above stock)
Step Inter-cooler kit
Stage 3 custom tune
EGR race pipe (it replaces the stock egr and allows more air flow through, I think some people forget how much space the egr valve takes up)
Air scoops (Which make very little difference)
Air intake system (Improved air flow over restricted stock air box and filter)
3 inch custom exhaust from turbos back to stock mufflers (No drone, quite for normal in town driving unless you get on the throttle, then it gets loud. Louder with the air intake system too)
Amsoil 5w40 Diesel oil (heavy duty/racing)
Nitto 555 G2 tires (275/40R17) (I would really like to get some 18 inch wheels.
Waiting on the xHP flashtools for the TCU tune, I'm so sick of the slow shifting going down the track.
I think that's about it.
