10.10.10 Dyno Numbers!
Post up your car, significant performance mods, and dyno numbers!
Mine seems AWFULLY low.... I only got 320.45 WHP and 232.62 WT... That's with RPi Axle Back Exhaust. I don't know if it was the heat or something but I am kinda disappointed... want to see what similar M3's got...

Well, is not that it sucks. It's the SAE correction factor they are using which in my opinion is the correct way to use a Dynojet; instead of the STD correction factor which will state higher Hp.
I got the *.DRF (Dyno run files) from the Dyno meet operator of my wife stock E90 335i dynoed at the event & it 100% matches our inhouse dynojet numbers for comparison. So what ever dyno numbers you got, it is very accurate! You are welcome to test for free dyno run if you are local for verification! BTW, nice laguna seca E90! My 2011 LMB 335i w/n55 engine dynoed a 275.85 hp and 289.72 tq completely stock. I would have to say the the dyno was pretty accurate, maybe even optimistic.

WOW
As mentioned by other people in this thread, it's CONSTANTLY compared to other dynos, and ALWAYS makes what everyone else s makes. I run it at the appropriate "SAE" correction. Other operators are guilty of running it at "STD" where it boosts your numbers... Everyone would've made 10-15 more HP had I changed the correction.... 2 weeks ago a car from another local dyno came over to verify numbers. Mazdaspeed3, COBB everything, other shop has an AWD Mustang Dyno MD-AWD-500-SE A couple hours later he ran on ours. He made 1 LESS hp and 2 more ft/lbs on mine compared to the other Mustang Dyno. That's a fraction of 1% A month ago I had a 2006 Kenne Bell 3 valve mustang run on Steeda's Dynojet 248x, than run on mine for a tune adjustment. He made 561 to the tire there and 569 to the tire here.... I had a Shelby Supersnake come in for a base line, that car is advertised at 725 at the engine, it came in and made 619 to the tire. With 15% Drivetrain loss through it's manual, it should've made 617.... The M6 made 417, than 407 after it heat soaked. EXACTLY what it's supposed to make.... The car is rated at 500 at the engine. Manual transmissions usually soak about 15% power, autos 20%+... The SMG not having a converter is about the same as the manual. The car lost 10hp just by heating up. On a cold First pull that M6 should have made 425. It made 417 hot with HEAVY wheels that probably sapped an extra 5hp. It made EXACTLY what it should have. Majority of the other cars made exactly what they were expecting or slightly more. M6 on a dyno dynamics dyno 415.6 hp M6 Dyno Dynamics, Exhaust, Pulley, Software 416.2hp M6 Aggressive Tune, exhaust, pulley on Dynojet 457hp |
