aquamist/coolingmist/bms jb4 trying to come up with scheme
bought a used kit which consists of:
trunk mount 1.5 gallon tank and CM 150 psi pump, Varicool controller, flow sensor, distribution box, brand new AEM meth injector with 3 nozzles from 300-600, aquamist gauge, as well as dual solenoid set up. all and all looks like a nice functional kit, which should fulfil my needs. the owner wasn't too inclined technically, he didn't install it , nor uninstall. anyone can identify the component next to the pump with an adjustment gear. has 2 electrical contacts. also could anyone chime in if the scheme i came up with looks legit. not to dig in manuals , red/green wires from varicool go to +/gnd of the pump originally , but i see that it was connected this way on the car it was taken off. jb4 accepts 0-5v meth flow indication and adds fuel/timing proportionally to the flow and failsafes if out of the flow window. most of all i would like to know if: 1) i managed the 12v powers right 2) can i use the separate ground for pump , it looks really stupid to go by CM recommendations and ground the varicool and the pump by one ground, located at 15feet distance. please chime in. 3) also, is it the right order: pump-flow sensor-filter-solenoids-nozzle or should something be changed? It looks like a boost switch on the right of the pump.
You dial in at what boost methanol flows. So far everything you said sounds good. The filter could be moved before the flow sensor if you want. You can ground wherever you see fit. A ground is a ground. the shorter the better. |
