I think I want these....dibs? So when you say retro fit...all I need is the cable you're sending along with these? Are they the same as these?
http://www.bimmian.com/BMW-OEM-LED-T...ab-description I don't understand the coding process. I asked a dealer about it today and he didn't know what I was talking about. What's the difference with the Euro tails?

The lights are exactly the same as the ones you linked. The coding process is just to remove the error message that appears on the dash which is caused by the bulb check. since its essentially going from normal bulbs to LEDs, the system detects them as not working because LEDs do not require as much power as the regular bulbs. Once coded, you will no longer see the error. but even with the error, the tails work 100% normal, just when you start the car itll flicker a bit.
I currently have euro tails and i still havent gotten mines coded and they're fine. Difference between these and the euros is that the euros have amber blinkers vs these which come standard on LCI e92s have red blinkers. |
