Squeeky wiper blade

My drivers side wiper seems to have developed a squeek. It happens as the tip of the blade reaches the top of the screen. Has this happened to anybody else? Does the blade need replacing or adjusting? (it still works fine).

I've not been too bothered by it until now but I'm taking my wife to the pinewood studios drive in cinema tonight and if it rains this could be very irritating

Try cleaning it with concentrated washer fluid, it might have some grease on it.

Thanks, I'll give that a go - just waiting for the rain to stop so I can look at it!

as above, clean the blade with screen wash but be careful not to tear it, you should also try cleaning the screen with newspaper - scrunch up a couple of sheets and use it as you would a cloth or kitchen towel with glass cleaner. The newspaper will get rid of alot of contaminents not removed usually.

You could also try vinegar on the blade-softens the rubber if it has gone hard, which is what usually causes squeeking and juddering.
