There's a place in Heaton Mersey, I took my old A3 2.0T there when we lived in Didsbury.

They mainly do subarus and stuff, but seem a good clean outfit. They do big scooby dyno days, so they're quite popular.

Price is 210 CHF for JB4 g5 upgrade kit + SLD + shipping. That is approximately 143 pounds.

Fitted last night in about an hour. Taking it nice and steady, taking care to route the cables nice in the ecu box and not bend any pins.
First run out to the detailer this morning. Then I'm without it for 4 days... I has a sad...

If you have not removed the original ECU connectors before, be careful. If you do it wrong they (the sliding lock mechanism) crack quite easy.

Remember to route the USB cable through to the cabin whilst fitting. If you don't you'll only go back and do it later.

Enjoy the extra power - unfortunately for many this is the start of a long slippy slope..

Don't forget to press the DTC button after installing soyou can get the pOwer down with the traction control constantly cutting the power. I'd recommend you set the JB4 to automatically engage DTC on start up during the months when it doesn't rain much.

Hey, anyone know the definitive answer to this, I got the guage sweep to work but don't know how (due to not employing a confirm button of some sort).
Then after stopping of at the olds for a couple of hours it had stopped functioning. ECU gone to sleep I and thought therefore this would have to be dialed in on each start up. Would be silly though but hey i'm new to it.
Anyhoo, botttom line is I haven't got it to work since.
I've googled it and the only answers I find aren't working for me.
(use the the buttons to get to speedo 5, then tach to 7. Then use the down volume (speedo) down back to normal cluster.)
Can somebody confirm if this sequence worked for them 'cos it sure as hell doesn't for me.

Hmm speedo to 5 and tach to 7 should work.
Mine does and I've only dialed it in once.

Not sure if activating something else would disable this such as gauge back at 50% throttle. (Speedo5,tach6)
