I plan to come to SpeedStar for this. Any good/bad feedback?

I got them to install my Kw v1's. They are very patient and percise. They lowered the right height to the exact mm I wanted. The only downside was that I had to wait nearly 6 hours.

Talk to Ivo@Columbus Automotive..410/derry rd..he's done a great job on a number of E90/E92s so far...i really commend his work...he's done almost every mod on my car, just recently did a complete suspension, LSD and meth install for DaFish, before that for farbmw...thumbs up for the guy and I really don't think you'll find a better price/quality/attention to detail

I understand that you have relations with him, but I think you need to stop recommending him for now. Although he may be a hard working mechanic he just doesn't have the experience with these cars and isn't fully versed in them from what I have seen.

I know 3 people who goto him for work and all 3/3 have had install errors and when they come and show me I have pointed them out... I went in once to see him do the work on my buddies car as well and I was not very impressed.... sometimes when you're dealing with work you're not familiar with maybe you should read the instruction manual in the box.

I highly recommend Sportscar Boutique. Ask for Peter, he will take care of you and get you set up properly. Get them to do the Alignment and Corner Balance too.

Excuse me, relations? Lol

Dude, I met Ivo a few months back walking randomly into a shop in Mississauga where he ended up solving a drivetrain mystery a few tranny shops and good share of experts on this and other forums didn't/couldn't...since then I started going to him as I realized the passion he has for his work and respect for his customers and their cars...

I've NO idea WTF you're referring to when talking about install errors on these cars in all seriousness...you're free to pm me or post here freely what he screwed up so royaly that negates his really awesome work...i'd also like to know when you were here and what car it was so we can clarify it...no one is pretending to be God here and everyone makes mistakes and knowing Ivo last few months I'm sure he'd address it free of charge...

Enlighten me spill the beans lol

Speedstar has done quite a few coilover install on E9X so you should be ok.

They didn't cut my liner when mine was installed (V3 for E90 xi)

+1 for Rocco at RMP. It's nice having someone who loves cars and knows BMW's working on yours. My install was quick and has been superb for over a month now.

Speedstar does quality work, downside is you can be waiting quite a while as they are usually always busy.

For coilover install, it's probably best to leave the car there for the day.
