Haha I'm still on the loan vehicle at the moment. Will drive it for 20mins tomorrow while I go to bmw Brighton to get the leak fixed as I want to try out bmw brighton's service vs south yarra. They seem to take half the time that bmw south yarra takes to do stuff

Don't think I'll have my M3 diff installed either, my right M3 driveshaft got ruined and need to wait for shipping for the new one.

The driveshaft weren't pressed out of the hubs squarely so it mushroomed under 50 tons of pressure. They were stuck in pretty badly in the hubs. The driveshaft shop charged me $200 and I got a full refund. Low milage 2nd hand driveshaft from the USA was $350 so I guess I'm only out an extra $150.

I guess my car will have to stay tail happy for the time being. Was on the fence but will definitely do the swap myself now. Don't trust anyone to do any work on my car anymore haha

Claims on the box say 3km+. I would be pretty confident it would work for a convoy of cars. I left one tramitting in the house and it seemed to work through all the walls out in the backyard. Might also test if it still works if i drive down the street
My experience with CB's is that they don't tend to work all that well at speeds, only at stand stills.

They'll be fine. I have used them while out in convoy and it works just fine.

Give them a test, the ones I have were about the same price, Uniden branded.

It's the only time I wish our phones had the old 'push to talk' technology.
