no brakes 2006 e90 320i

Hi, New here looking for some advice about a friends e90.

Its a 2006 320i with a rock solid brake pedal, no braking assist at all!

The Brakes booster (brakes servo) has some engine oil in it, not a lot but enough to be concerned about.

I think i have located the problem to be a faulty brake vacuum pump unit that feeds the vacuum to the booster. Ordered a genuine pierberg replacement unit aswell as all pipes leading to the booster.

Any advice anyone can offer please on fitment, anything I should know before attempting to fit it, any guides?

Any guidance is much appreciated.
