Realistic power goals on 91 octane

2013 135is DCT here. I'm contemplating getting a PS2 turbo but I'm limited mostly to 91 octane. However, there is E85 in the next town over, but it's not always practical to drive there just to fill up. So I'll be driving 90% on 91 and 10% on some E85 blend.

What is a realistic power goal with stock turbo and FBO on 91 octane assuming all other supporting mods (IC, DP, tune)? Is 350rwhp possible?

What is a realistic power goal with an E85 blend w/ stage 2 pump but w/o port injection or HPFP upgrade?

agreed! my car can do roughly 385 at the wheels on crappy CAD fuel but its awd so more drivetrain losses.

Baseline is roughly about 275 WHP. Seems to be what other stock n55 powered cars pull at my local dyno.

I am still riding on the cheap ass 91 Octane from Ultramar hahaha.

95 cents is insanely low. Even in Ottawa it doesn't go that low!

Costco in canada sources from shell and husky. Their gas is top tier rated. So its no worse. If u have Costco membership its worth it for 91.

I just found out that one of the Costco in my area sells gas, but it's a 25Km drive...

I might switch on Petro Canada 94 Octane when I go MHD Stage 2+, but I have hear it was also garbo.

From my experience these numbers are pretty close. I would only change the following.

Stock turbo on 91 = 330whp
Stock turbo on 91 and meth = 355-370whp
PS2 on 91 = 380whp-400whp
PS2 on 91 and meth = 425-450whp
PS2 on E30 = 450-475whp (Old style HPFP)

In summer I will start trying most of the popular stations (Petro Canada, Shell V-Power, etc.) and log everything. For now I have found an ok amount of corrections on the gas I am currently running.

Indeed it's getting especially very bad at this moment outside.

You will be limited by your HPFP. I threw in some E20 and had my HPFP crash at 17 psi. I will test more later but I wouldn't expect to run much ethanol without supplemental fueling.

Yeah he is one of a few that have the PS2 on the X1. I am planning to install mine later this year after I send it to Pure for a rebuild.

Is it pointless or even dangerous to run a PS2 with an off-the-shelf MHD tune?

It's so cheap to get a custom tune, the real question is why would you?

^ don't spend $3k+ for a turbo upgrade and skimp out on the couple hundred bucks that a proper tune would cost
