550whp is really close to the limit of the n55 engine for the 2011 cars. even then you'll need Port Injection, PS2, e85 maps, meth, minimum stage 2 lpfp. idk how comfortable/convenient thatll be for a DD. 460whp ish is probably more reasonable with a turbo upgrade

I know theres stage 3 kits for the f30 n55 that they say you get stock reliability with a increase of power and they are around 600whp

I grew tired of "Butt-Dyno" and Performance parts supplier claims. 346wHp 346 ft/lbs wheel torque
2011 335i Xdrive: FBO, PS2, Wedge 93 Pump gas custom tune, no Fuel additions

Quit Guessing!

550hp is easily doable with the PS2 and either ethanol or methanol. 550WHP and you should look for a "Stage 3" kit. Although you can obtain it with the PS2 you will have pretty much maxed the turbo out. Personally I would either readjust your expectations or switch platforms. When the new HPFP tables become public you will be able to upgrade the LPFP and keep an otherwise stock fuel system to use ethanol to max out the PS2.

I really enjoyed my 2011 335i at 20-23psi. It was faster than most cars locally and was about at the limit for traction in 3rd gear on street tires.

That seems impossibly low. Did you mean 446 wHP? How could you be at 246 with PS2 and being FBO?

I estimated that my 92 octane tune was around 385whp with the PS2. I was trapping the same speeds with my stock unit maxed out in the 1/4 mile.

philgli Were you considering on getting xDelete on your car and redoing that dyno? I am curious on how much loss there is because of friction and in the mechanical powertrain due to xDrive!

What do you mean new HPFP tables? Because I know XDi makes an upgrade for like 3k but that's not worth 3k imo

Re-read the numbers... the Wedge custom 93 Pump gas tune was extremely conservative targeting 15 psi.

The OP has a 2011 which is the rotary style "N54" HPFP.
