I agree that it's overpriced but Kudos to David's professional attitude to the community responce. FWIW, I would be glad to be the first to pick up the original kit and give it my thorough review and report back to all my e90 friends. (Of course for a huge discount) PM me if your interested David.

The only way I could justify the price of both these catch cans if they were made out of Titanium or Carbon Fiber.

Hpf does it again!!! By that I mean bring a product to market that requires the sale of a kidney to afford it. Seriously, $500? I just bought a dual occ for my t/a for a quarter of that price. Lol

you can assemble these lines with fittings and purchase a universal catch can on line and have the same quality product for under $250 !

I will say that David has handled this thread the right way, especially with the criticism that is rightfully extended. I also agree with mostly everyone when I say that this kit if priced WAY too high, if you were to significantly lower the price point, you might have a few fans. An oil catch can for ANY make/model of vehicle should never be priced this high. Hell, on my 800 hp MKIV Supra I was able to get a nice quality catch can off Ebay and purchased my own high quality Earl's line and fittings that I pieced together. When all was said and done, I only paid roughly $200 for everything.

Yea i'd be real curious if anyone actually pays for this thing. I cannot justify $500. Theres no way I think they're making a mistake pricing it like that these should be tops $250.

get a meth kit for less than that....no commercial OCC yet works properly on this car, AR OCC driver's side mount is the ONLY one that comes very close to what I'd run but I'd up the size on the inlet/outlet on the can, but then again you've got the extra long tubing

What do you think of the RSD OCC ? IMO it's pretty good compared to what else is out there minus the location right by the turbos. I don't see many running it but most likely bc it is over $300

As far as I see RSD has the same issues..they don't provide any specs though...if you have them, post them and we can discuss

I had oil leaking from my turbo seals. Took the car in and BMW said it is a result o pcv pressure. I switched up the inlet size of my occ and they stopped leaking. I wasn't the first or only person to have this problem.

Don't worry dzenno, you're not alone. You can join the scores of people who swapped out plugs, coils and injectors trying to fix something that wasn't broke to begin with.

IMO the HPF OCC has some sexy components. Is it worth the price? Probably worth it about as much as those $2k SuperSprint downpipes.
