Wow... photos and videos up already!

Thanks for a great day guys... I'm glad I made the effort to drag myself out of bed this morning after a big Saturday night to meet you all.

Thanks for organizing Kimberly!

Nick: No problem.. I'm glad he enjoyed the ride! Just make sure you hide the keys to the 335i well

Daniel: Your car is a beast... Ridiculous amounts of torque from such a cheap and easy to install mod! Every 335i should come with a Procede fitted from day 1... Thanks for the ride!

Ben: It was interesting actually, looking at the cars lined up at Bayview. The 335i is such a sleek looking car... the lines just go on forever, and the front of the car is just HUGE compared to the E46. The E46 is very square and boxy in comparison. Much like the move from E36 -> E46 actually. I certainly don't regret buying the M3 over the 335i, but I'm certain that I would have been thrilled with either choice

Nice meeting you all, it was definitely more of a spirited drive than I was expecting, but it was good to let my car......... "breathe"

"Spirited drive" I think I've sent the steptronic into overdrive - must have remapped it's gear change profile - just wants to RACE now! Thanks again everyone and thanks Astra for organising a great day. PS: you and Aaron should be in the group photo! Will have to drag you in next time

In retrospect Nick may possibly have had altogether too much fun on Sunday. Nick promises to be much better behaved next time . Still, there is something very....um...."appealing" about applying 2000bhp+ between us to such a nice stretch of blacktop....

I think astra was smart enough to realise that the group photo may one day be used by the police to identify the…. errrrr….. “spirited” drivers.

Cheers.

Love the pics! Can't get enough of them to be honest!
Next time i will be sure to have a clean car though! (Think i had the dirtiest car by far).
Aaron took some great shots, i'm certain that my current camera isn't half as good, may have to pick up a new one in HK when i'm over there in AUG.

So, whilst everyone is still excited over yesterday's meet, anyone got suggestions for the date & location for the next one?

The date has me stumped but the venue is easy:
North Sydney to Airport, 5:30pm on a wet winter night. Oh, and with a major footy fixture on, in case the traffic shows a tendency to thin out. Maybe Lou Rawls playin' kinda e..a..s..y on the stereo. Keep us all travellin' real smooth, sensible 'n chill'd 'dis time .

Very special bonus: no one's gonna notice anybody's brake dust .

Personally i prefer the Faith No More version of Easy, but that's just my taste.
I like the North Sydney fixture, nice and close to me, plus a few good spots for photo opportunities. Personally i always find the drive through Gosford upto The Entrance (pretty quiet this time of year, plenty of sweet photo opportunities too) a pleasant one for about 80mins each way from the CBD, or if we wanted to make a day of it we could always drive out to Bathurst, but that is a reasonable hike (or so i'm told) approx 2 each way? (i may be wrong).
