STETT cp and bov vs CP-E cp and greddy bov
1.What is the diffence in those that one costs so much more than the other ? Just the fact that it has meth bung and other doesnt ?
2.Greddy BOV is better function wise than stock dvs ? or forge dvs are still better than greddy BOV ? I really don't care about which one make what kind of sound, just cre for the functionality. Thanks |

A link would probably help for the first question...
And neither is technically better than the other... It is usually preference. I personally think a BOV is more efficient and holds boost better, but other people think differently. When I ordered my CP from ER, it was only $20 to add a meth brung.

Have you ever looked at the Synapse kit. Got mine few weeks ago, and totally love it.

I have the CP-E Charge pipe with the Tial BOV and I really like it. The BOV is quiet (stock boost) and classy.

The cp-e has the factory c-clip to the throttle body instead of a silicon coupler / clamp. They can have meth bungs put in as well. They only offer the HKS and Tial - no greddy.

The cp-e is what we currently have on our single turbo shop car. Great piece! All the silicone couplers we have used on the stock throttle body have been a HUGE failure so far.

Active autowerke's updated BOV also utilizes the factory c-clip. Fits like OEM, with the meth bung as well.

All three BOVs are great. I have used a lot of Tials, and have had great luck with them. Having said that, I have customers with HKS valves that love them. And I just bought a Greddy for my 69 2002...... Its really personal preference.
Re-using the factory connection on the throttle body is the ONLY way to go IMO

The STETT charge pipe is probably the single most widely used CP on the forums. Their patented silicone coupler has a "locking lip" that secures the CP to the throttle body, then it is locked down using t-bolt clamps. It is as secure as you will ever get. I have put nearly 19 psi through it, dumped 1400 ml/min of methanol through it, and sprayed a 50 shot of nitrous through the STETT charge pipe. I am not sure there has been a charge pipe put through more than mine.
