Questions for Breyton Race GTS on Lowered E92

I am thinking to buy a set of Breyton Race GTS 19 X 8.5 with 235/35/19 tires at front and 19 X 9.5 with 265/30/19 at rear for my LOWERED E92 335i.

The front dropped about 1.2" and the rear dropped about 1" from the original.

Anyone could tell me whether the new setup will rub the fenders? My car has the sport package with the OEM 18" wheels.

Thanks.

I dunno for sure but I do know that with the Contisport 3s on the Same 19" fronts with their 30 or 33 offest whichever they are, there is not much room in there for a drop in my opinion.

BUT, others may have more experiance, I'm just guessing based on how my wheels fit on my car at it's current OEM ride height.

As long as you are running OEM sport suspension (zsp) TireRack says that this set up will work.

If you are running aftermarket suspension then

Put in this way, if a lowered E90 is okay with this setup (no rubbing), is it possible the E92 will fit without problems?

An E92 has less room than an E90.

Can you explain a liitle bit more? Does it mean the tires will stick out (esp. the front)?

^ It means that an aggressive offset for an E90 that barely rubs/clears will not fit an E92 (it will rub for sure). I don't know what will fit an E92 but if you do a search, I'm sure you can find your answer.

I have seen one E90 (328i) with the mentioned setup and lowered with H&R sport springs. The owner told me that there is not any rubbing at the fender. I checked his rear and front fenders and there was not any rubbing at all.

It is too hard to find wheels with perfect offset for the lowered E92. I don't want to put any spacers with the wheels.

Can you post some pictures with the wheels on? I asked someone (vendor) and he said there should not be any problems. The only concern to me is whether the fronts wheels will rub or not!

Hard to tell! Do you have any pictures shooting from top of the fender of the front wheels. It looks like your tires are off the fender at least 10mm. But, it is strange because the 18" OEM wheels are tug inside the fender with ET34 and have more than 10mm space in order to flush with the front fenders.

If you use the calculator from tire rack and type in the information of your new wheels and tires, the wheels and tires with ET30 should flush well with the front fenders.

The E90 that I saw a few days ago with the same setup was prefectly flush with the front fenders.

I am seriously considering buying these wheels but I just to make sure the fronts will not stick out. In worst scenario, I have to choose the other brands.

ya . but e90 offset is more aggressive than e92!!!

i am still questioning some vendors on the site. once i sort it out. i will let u know!
but i think i might be fine. since i am using re050a pole position and these tires are not "sharp edge" it's rounded.. so.... lets see.. hopefully i will get a confirmation tomorrow

i have confirmed by 2 e92 now et 30 will Work! with no fender roll.. but lemme wait for the 3rd vendor to answer me!

I don't know! Some rims have the ET30 front and ET35 rear and they are prefect fitment for the car (lowered) without rubbing and rolling fender!

It seems ET33 front and ET35 rear are the best combo.

This is what I got an email reply from Gary today from Tire Rack:

This is a nice, aggressive wheel setup but even with many lowered vehicles that have them we've had no problems with rubbing with the
235/35R19 front and 265/30R19 rear, so this should still be no problem.
If you do as some have and try 275/30R19 rear it may need some rear
fender lip rolling depending on how low you leave the car. Regardless
of what tire size you try, you can also test fit the package before
driving on them and check for clearance. If you find that there will be
a rubbing problem with your particular setup, the package can be sent
back for a credit to your credit card. All you would lose is the
shipping cost.

If you have any other questions or would like to place an order, please
feel free to give me a call at 1-800-428-8355, ext 386, or you can
reference my name 'Gary' in the previous contact blank towards the end
of the order form when you order online at
http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AB2&url=index.jsp .

Sincerely

um.. i already HAVE the rims no refund for me for sure..

but i have asked a couple guys. i will list some of them since u stated name anyway.. and they all said it should be fine
1) longtran
2) ///Mantis
3) Kenny@JleviSW
4) Zoeb@Wheeldude
5) ah gon
6) James************ (still waiting to be confirmed

(sorry to whom i forgot to list your name. Thanks again!!!!!)

check this out. Zoeb said both their car haven't roll fenders and the grey one is actually with HnR sport springs too... and both their rims are same offset as the Breyton et30 front and et35 rear..
looking at Zoeb's car (Blue), if he doesn't rub. i doubt HnR will rub!.. but still need him to confirm if he did any camber adjustment first.

Sorry for the delayed reply, after being closed for the long weekend we're a little swamped. Just to reconfirm what I said, there are guys up here running the same setup with lowered cars with no problem. I doubt you'll have any problems, but just in case you want to be extra cautious that test fitting is an option.

Back to the first question again, are you sure your wheels stick out with the Tire Rack setup?

I need to confirm before I pull my trigger to buy the wheel package.

Can you check your wheels again please!

it's fine.

longtran has et28 w/ pss9
zoeb@wheeldude has et30 w/ kw
and that space grey from wheeldude has et30 w/ HnR sport.

they all said no special camber adjustment and fender cant be rolled.. so i think its fine
