Finally: A replacement Touring
It's been an expensive weekend.
Saturday, my daughter got married. Monday, bought a replacement for my written off Touring. I have been looking since the end of August, and I've not seen any LCi Le Mans Blue Touring's for sale, so I've gone and bought a white one. I'm not overly keen on white cars, but for me, it's a nicer option than a silver or black one. Although I'm not one for modifying my cars cosmetically, I am seriously thinking of a wrap - gloss black roof, tailgate spoiler, rear diffuser and door mirrors. Comments on these mods please . . . . Advert pictures: Pick it up next Monday. As for the old one - it's Work in Progress. I'm in contact with the guy who bought it, and is rebuilding it for himself. He's done a lot of work: And you can see what he's going to be doing to it: Mike |

Oh and my opinion, black carbon roof wrap only.

white lci e91 looks good! is it a 335d? or i? or something else
the m3 front on your old touring will look good. I have seen a E91 full M3 conversion (body +engine) at m3cutters! I think its about time for us to set up a thread for UK E91 Owners |

Seen a couple of pics of E91/M3 lookalikes. The front looks good, but I'm not too fond of the rear treatment - looks a bit too heavy for my tastes. I'd prefer the standard diffuser modified for quad pipes. Mike |

Nice! I would have a White e91 over my L/Blue any day!
The 'Wrap' mods sound an interesting idea and I would definitely add a bmw performance rear diffuser to that list. |

Glad it's sorted Mike. I personally would have the white over the lmb any day.
I'd not go too mental with wrap, doing the mirrors etc will look too 'Halfords' for a classy car like that. I think someone above mentioned carbon roof, I think ithat would look good. Performance defuser for sure. Your tourer looks like it sits nice already, so maybe some Eibach pro springs, and some lovely concave CSL style alloys. Once again, glad your back in a Beemer. |

Glad to see you got a replacement, and a stunner at that
Gloss black/CF roof? OEM performance high gloss grills or CF Matt anthracite wheels (either the MV3's or CSL jobbies) Rear diffuser in gloss black/CF,quad pipes 335D badge in gloss black Remap - got to with quad pipes Tailgate spoiler - Meh! (apologies to those who have them) Wing mirrors, you don't want to draw attention to the LCI dumbo ears,Semtex - blow them off (not the fecking doors),replace with the pre-LCI ones Next?

Nice one Mike.
I'll spot that around for sure, there's a black and an LMB 335d Tourer about, but no white ones. If you get flashed by a silver 335i Tourer, you'll know why..... Last edited by doughboy; 10-24-2012 at 07:19 AM.. |

Changing the oem exhaust tips is another fairly painless mod - here's some examples. http://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/products/tail-pipes/ |

Whether all these Gangsta' accessories will cut it at the Farmers Market car park I'm not sure? I was 4 in 1976 and I'm still unsure about even changing the wheels..... |
