Just thinking about this table......

The values would probably be based on a standard stock intercooler car not spraying meth.

Since Meth would cool the intake charge substantially, you could place more weight on intake temperatures being cooler than what these factors assume at any particular airflow.

So I would speculate that Shiv probably increased these values somewhat

On a load based system, cooler denser air requires less boost to meet a load set point.

So assuming this particular cylinder temperature calculation is about air density, you would want to lower the values in this table so the DME gives less weight to the fact the air is cooler with Meth. Making it request boost as if the IATs were higher and required more boost to meet load.

So I would speculate Shiv lowered the values in this table somewhat. But that is just a guess since I don't know exactly how the calculation works.

There's 3 other tables involved with this you may want to look at

Yeah there's 4 total tables. Dessertdude has a good observation with cyl temps. The 2 2D tables adjust a certain parameter, which i always assumed was WGDC... but never played with it.

WGDC or load target? I've never touched it either.

Well, minor changes in the right direction, but still not hitting the top end PSI I'm looking for.

We pushed load up to 205 on top, but the car didn't like those numbers. Still need to fix the throttle closure at 3k.

Yeah...my car didn't like a load of 205 up top either

Must be some other tables working to limit load somewhere.

What is your boost hitting at 5800 rpm? Mine is 16.4 psi. Curious how close yours is.

Wedge, what do you mean didn't like it? Your target and actual don't seem scaled the same. Target looks to be a little flatter... if not meeting boost need to work on WG tables.

Well, my target is 15.54 @ 5824 rpm, guess that's the 1 psi you are getting from the PROcede.

I need to log with the BT Cable again with the current setup to see what I can do about my WGDC. I'm not hitting target. 1 to 1.5 psi low...

As soon as I tried to go WOT, I coded...

Yeah, the scaling of the target and actual boost is confusing to say the least. That would be a Shiv question.

I need to log. Hopefully Rombinhood will be getting better logging options. It will be the only way that Shiv and other tuners will be able to remote tune.

Good, car is pulling hard. Need to reduce WGDC at 3k and open things up on the top end a bit to hit target.

Wedge, have you attempted to define the throttle mapping tables or know if this is happening?

No, haven't had much time over the past week to play. Hopefully I can go log my WGDC again next week and fix the tables. Real close to where I want to be. The car pulls really hard to red line and is very stable. Hope to hit the dyno before I track the car on the 10th. Have a track day at PIR in Portland.
