Euro-Style Front Vanity Plate

Since in Florida we don't have front license plates, I'm thinking about putting a Euro-Style one that looks like this:

Now does anyone know a good site where i can buy this on?
I found this one
http://www.autoplates.com/store/cust...uroplates.html

And also, when i first got my car there was this mount thingy in the trunk when i opened it, is this enough for mounting the plate on or is something additional needed or do i not need it at all?

Also which order would you put it in? LCI-E90 Or E90-LCI or something else that you would you put on it

If you're going to do this, do it right. Drop the hyphen and get the appropriate front-plate stickers to go in between LCI and E90. See here: http://www.europeanplates.com/licenseplateseals.htm

Unless you can find a way to do it without drilling holes in your bumper, I'd think hard about whether it is worth it.

For those of us who are required to do so... it was an emotional moment, to say the least.

Very good point. CA requires a front plate, but many people do not comply (me included) as many dealers give you a choice on mounting the bracket after signing a waiver.

I don't have a front plate either. Dealer never had me sign a waiver. It must have been because I e-mailed my CA at least five times to make sure they didn't drill any holes. Those e-mails are probably all the waivers they need.

I find it funny how people that are not required to have a front license plate, want to put one on... And those of use who ARE required to have a front plate on our cars would LOVE to get rid of it somehow.

US Amry, probably like you so no taxes paid, and a VAT forum=not tax. Just $60 for 2 year registration and i am taking these plates with me back to the states. And i feel the pain about the front plate and drilling holes in the front bumper. I just pulled my front plate off tonight to put on a CF look plate holder on and saw the damage it did to my paint, so I'll be at the dealer about it. The dealer put it on before i could tell them not to and get a front plate adapter.

I used the 3M double sided tape. There are many threads about applying the plate using this method so you don't have to drill holes.

Another place you can get one is: www.customeuropeanplates.com

I already had holes, and thanks to the previous owner, some nice scratches on the front bumper. When I got a Euro plate as a gift from a friend, it was an easy cover up.

But I think the real reason we put them on here in the U.S. is because people aren't used to seeing them, and BMW owners like the attention.
