I have 225M wheels on my E92 (Msport). Wheels are 19x9 ET 39 (googled ET, didn't verify). I currently have 265/30/19 (Hankooks) with a 10mm rear spacer.

I'm going with pilot SS in the rear, but found that the 275/30/19 are actually cheaper than the 265/30/19s. I know the PSS run big, so I would like recommendation on which size to get. I'd like the keep the 10mm spacers.

Any experience/ideas are appreciated.

275, especially with PSS, will run too wide for that 9" wheel. itll fit of course, but tire sides will stick/curve out more than the wheel surface... basically itll look stupid.

This is great info, I am getting these tires....I am having them mounted on my LC 818's and I believe they are 10" rims. I have 265/30/19 in the back will I have any rubbing issues ( no rolled fenders) since you say these run wider? Can I go up to a 275 with these tires with out rubbing? The offset is stock I believe at 30 (front) and 37 (back). I also have 225/35/19 in front and would like to go up one size to a 235/35/19, will this be a issue??? Would suck to get theses tires nd they not fit lol!!

This thread shows 265/35/18 pss on 8.5 wheels. Going to 275 adds 10mm and going from 8.5" to 9" subtracts 12.7mm, so a 275/35 (and i'm getting 275/30) should actually bulge 0.7mm less than those (on paper). I still think 265 is the way to go now, as those tires stick out further than I like.

I wil stick with the 265/30/19...I like the lower sidewall (lower profiles). Have Yokohama "S drives" right now and they wore out way to fast. Will say they do have a good ride and good in wet weather though.

I think the 275 will bulge pretty bad on a 9. Im running 255/40/19 on my front wheels that are19x9 and they look almost too wide for the wheel, PSS are no joke. I got 275 in the back on a 19x10 and its slightly stretched.

EDIT: My front tires basically fit the same as that picture^.

I can snag some pics if you want to see.

So it is safe to say a 235 will fit easily up front with no rolled fenders.

Considering I'm running 255 RS3's up front on an LCI e92, the answer to your question is Yes.

Just didn't seem like it would fit from looking at it lol!! I am know wondering if the 225 I have now will even fit on a 8.5" rim without a lot of stretch (switching tires to new rims, then getting new PSS in a month or so).

One more question...how Bad will a 265/30/19 stretch to fit on the 10" rim?

After saying I "dont want to roll my fenders (Didnt trust anytone doing it), I took a closer look and think they are rolled (pics below). I am assuming with the fenders rolled a 275 or 285 on a 10" rim would fit with out rubbing?

I did not have trhe fenders rolled so it was done before I owned the car if they are infact rolled.

Those fenders arent rolled, thats all original shaping. You can fit a 275 in the rear with the correct offset. My rear fenders are not rolled and i have the 275 Pilot SS with a 19x10 +35 offset. My car is pretty low, tires rub in the rear on dips and bumps. Keep in mind the Pilot SS sizes run wide compared to most tires.

A 235 should fit with no problems up front, depending on your offset. I have 19x9 +30 offset in the front, running 255/30/19 and i had to run about -2.5 degrees of camber to keep them from rubbing too bad. Keep in mind that my fitment is quite extreme.

You have been more than helpful...that is the look I want...tires flush with the rim is what I want.....but will a 265 get that look? My offset on my rims in the rear is a 37mm....will a 275/30ZR/19 fit with that offset with non-rolled fenders?? I will have a 8.5" rim with a 30mm offset so I guess the 235 will fit....below are the rims I am getting....can you tell me what max sized PSS I can use (I am confused lol). I hope my Yokohama "S drives" work on the rims below until I get the PSS. They are 225/35/19 (front) and 265/30/19 (back). Would you suggest 30ZR on front and back or 35ZR (front) and 30ZR (back)? Sorry for all the newbie questions but there is a lot more to rims and tires than I ever thought possible lol!!

I would suggest a 235/35/19 in the front and a 265/30/19 in the rear, especially if you are going to be getting the PSS. Those sizes coupled with the wheels you want will fit just fine and should look really good. The yokohama S drives will fit just fine. Here is the pictures of my wheels, front is a 19x9 with a 255/30/19 Michelin PSS (-2.5 camber). Rear is a 19x10 with a 275/30/19 Michelin PSS (-2.3 camber).

Yeah, for the most part. My front tire has a very squared looking shoulder because its width, your front tire will be more rounded - like how my rear looks on the 10" wheel. It will look good.

Awesome!!! I am sure with the 225 on there until I get my PSS it will be stretched lol!! You have a great set-up for sure! What rims are those?

Thanks man, i love them. BC Forged wheels, FJ34 in brushed black with a polished lip. 18lbs Front, 19lbs rear.
