best intake is the Dinan. but who wants to pay $1,000.
Personally i'd go with the BMS dual cone intake and BMW Performance exhaust.

For intake, go with either BMS DCI or Ingen. BMS DCI is the best bang for the buck. Ingen comes with more hardwares that could make it look nicer for some people. No performance difference. For exhausts, there are just too many options to name depending on what you are looking for. Personally i am considering either bastuck or bmw performance as i don't want a catback system.

Love my BMW performance exhaust. Not much in terms of perf. gains, but the exhaust note is intoxicating. Two other pluses: 1. No warranty issues to have to worry about, and 2. No droning noise inside the cabin.

If you don't want a catback system, go with AE catless or Vanguard or HKS, those are just the top three off the top of my head.

phenomenal sound with zero drone

best intake is dinan. But I found a middle ground between that 1K intake system (waste of money) and the $120 BMW. Get the aFe DCI, I got the Stage 2 from a friend for about 150 bucks but I think it goes for around 400 retail. If you're not a very tight budge I'd go with the aFe instead of the BMS because it gives you front mounting air scoops and a heat shield. Not to mention "reported" higher performance gains.
