We learned from going the cheap route with lifts. It dropped my dads car the first time we lifted it. (professionally installed and under weight limit) The two sides bowed in and eventually the hydraulics gave out and threw his car to the ground and sent metal and bits through the ceiling. Have he been under the car working he would have been killed.

I advise all to not get some cheap lift. Do you research before you buy, we have been very happy with the Mohawk brand (made in USA )

Thanks guys! I don't think the F10 M5 has wider fenders. It's mentioned over on the 5 forum to be the same but the front fender and rear diffuser is different.

We've gotten a bit of snow the last couple of days and I just snapped this with my iPhone. The M3 does quite well on her Blizzaks, but not as well as the 335i Xdrive. Both are terribly dirty though.
