e92 Rear Center Trim Removal

Hi everyone,

I was browsing through on the internet but I can't found anything related to a removal of the center console trim of an e92. So...I decided to give it a try anyway

I really hope that this could help some people on the forum out on doing this

This DIY is just for reference and please DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK in case you break it lol....

The removal is quite straight forward....here's the guide!

TOOLS REQUIRED
--T20 screw driver
--Flat screw driver
--A credit card or two? to protect the trim and the side wall...

>>This is the trim i'm talking about...
>>insert your flat screw driver in the middle and pry it up slowly

>>Just a kind remember...there is a cable connect to it, so be careful

>>Here is the clippers at the back, should give you an idea on where to pull..
>>we are going to remove the air duct first(the one connect with cable)

>>Use your T20 screw driver!

>>Another 4 screws to remove the ashtray!

>>to remove the ashtray trim... there are diys out there...but here's the pic, i know its the front one, but I accidentally broke it when I was doing it...
>>there should be a gap between the tray and the trim. The trim includes the wooden part+the plastic...so be careful, don't do it in a wrong way...

DONE!

any thoughts?

Definitely looks good The trim gets better and better every time you look at it IMO...Carbon fiber is way too popular and high key IMO
